In the pink

This little bloom has appeared in the garden; I love it! The photo is untouched (other than cropped slightly), it really is that vivid shade.

Today has been great; air con on without even asking; majority of paperwork done for my new job (though I need to arrange a blood test now to measure antigen/antibody levels for my Hep B immunity status, except the GP was closed today!!!); wandered round town with Mr A, then home for a nap while he watched the footy.

While I was busy scanning and emailing documents. Mr A did the brakes on my car fixed, not sabotaged as they needed new pads (according to my last service). He said the old ones still had plenty of life in them, but they are done now.
I made him take the first test drive just in case but they are fine and he's saved me a fortune on mechanics fees.
