Bye Bye Granny

Smiles at 6.15am, breakfast, we all sit round the table and eat together, which is good for the boys. Chris went to work, Faye and I took Danny and Jacob out for a walk. There is a field about 10 minutes away with a couple of horses in it, so we walk there, feed the horses some grass, Danny likes to `shout` at the horses, then a slow walk back and the boys go down for their morning nap.

Faye tries to prepare their food for the rest of the day in this 40 minutes. Playtime, then lunch, watch some CBeebies, then down for the afternoon nap. At this point I had to leave.

It has been a hard 7 days, in that it is `full on` from 6am until 7pm, but the boys are a delight. They respond to you with smiles and shrieks of joy, the occasional melt down, but that is to be expected.

I have slept in the nursery all week, so that Chris and Faye have been able to catch up on some much needed sleep.

It will be 10 weeks before I see them all again, too long.
