The Commonwealth Games baton came through Kelso today. There was quite the carnival atmosphere.
Two police cars, three motorcyclists and at least two police officers on foot lining the route kept everyone safe and made sure the baton didn't go down the other road.
Of course it didn't pass off without incident. Some people parked in the Lidl car park who were not shopping in Lidl. I expect I'll hear more about that later... I've already got an update of the cat that got chased by a dog saga to look forward to on Monday.
Today was supposed to be Farming Wednesday, but the heifers will still be there next week. Not the week after though :/ They'll be going on their holidays. To a lush field of juicy buttercups in Devon.
We are having lentils for tea tonight...
