Pontypool Park
The Wednesday walkers had an out-of-town walk today, or rather a walk in another town. Pontypool Park is very extensive and has some historic features, including a Gorsedd Stone Circle, commemorating the National Eisteddfod held in the town in 1924.
We've got one of those in Abergavenny too, and the National Eisteddod is due to come back here in 2016.
