Drive-Thru Booze

Something that I've found amazing since I moved to Australia nearly four years ago is.... the drive-through 'Bottle-O'.

Picture the scene: It's getting on a bit. Your regular off-license is closed (come on Dan Murphy's! 8pm is too early!). You really need a beer after working 31.5 hours in 3 days. The Mother-in-law has arrived from New Zealand and needs her Chardonnay.

What do you do!? You head to a nearby bar and just drive in between two walls of fridges rammed to the hilt with beer, wine and spirits. You don't even need to get out of the car: the helpful fellah comes up to your window and it's all done without you leaving your seat.

Oh Thirsy Camel. You're completely overpriced, but for that service, who can complain?

Just amazing.

I can't believe it's not taken off elsewhere in the world!
