Regal ship Vasa

It's not everyday you eat dinner under the bows of a 17th century warship!
The Vasa is a Swedish warship built 1626-1628, which foundered and sank after sailing about 1,300 m (1,400 yd) into her maiden voyage on 10 August 1628.

After the ship was located again in the late 1950s in a busy shipping lane just outside the Stockholm harbor, she was salvaged in 1961 with a largely intact hull. She is now housed in the Vasa Museum in Stockholm where they open up the museum in the evenings for large parties wanting a little history with their dinner!
