picnic breakfast

In a pre-Father's day warm up Nell prepared a lovely picnic this morning. Tea and cards and fruit and toast and teddy bears.
Great day at the school kermesse (fete) today (forgot the camera). Sun, fancy dress parade around the village, water pistols, cake, tug o' war. 3 hours of face-painting for me but it was a good antidote to last night's painful AGM. Good times for everyone and a chance to catch up with Denis and Adeline who finally signed away Pentaillo today. End of an era.
