Tennis at Eastbourne

As I watched the tennis, I kept thinking that there were all these great opportunities for a decent photo, lines in all directions, vivid colours, shadows, and people. Unfortunately, armed with my mere smartphone they were all out of reach for me. This shot was taken as we waited for readmittance to the stand between games. Oh yes, and the tennis was oustanding, a 22 year old Italian, Giorgi beat the number 4 in 3 tough sets. Such incredible strength. For comparison, we looked at some old footage of ladies' tennis in the 70s, Chrissie Evert and Navratilova. It was like a display of ladies that lunch having a knock up.
