First day nerves...

Oh dear what have I let myself in for?? I started my MSc today in Leeds and I feel completely out of my depth surrounded by divisional managers, deputy directors of nursing, and doctors using words I haven't even heard of (I think half of them are made up)! One woman came marching up to me shook my hand so hard it actually hurt and said 'call my Flipper' it's short for Phillipa! (WTF)...

I usually have no problem buddying up with someone on a course but I'm struggling today and then to top it all off the day starts at 8.30am and finishes at 6.30pm. I really thought we would be done by 3pm so I could explore the lovely shops in Leeds. Oh well I'm off to hide from Flipper!
