Rain, sprain, dentist and worms

I took this pic of the sky this morning on the way to school, it looked so unusual.

Of course because of the sudden heavy rain this morning i knew there would be a lot of worms about and I didn't need a repeat of last week. I don't think I put it in my blip but last week when it poured there were a lot of worms on the way to school and mar got upset that they were going to die and said we have to save them. I promised him i would during the day and later on i got together a mini worn farm and took it with me when I went to pick him up but there were no live worms, they'd all died or been run over. I felt like I had let mar down so today i was prepared to save worms. I took a container and on the way we rescued worms and put them in the garden at school.

My back was on the mend until tonight when i sat down awkwardly, I half sat on a pillow and it jarred. I callef the nurse and told her she said it sounded like i had just pulled a muscle or torn it she said to rest and take pain relief, sounded vague to me so I googled what she said and it came up with a muscle strain/ tear so I guess she was right it described my pain and how it happened perfectly even with a grading system 1 able to walk but sore 2. Walking is painful and twinges or pain occur with movement and 3 unable to walk or move. I am a 2. It describes sudden sharp pain usually from a muscle that's been overused well that's just me all over!. When it happened it was 5pm so I called andre in tears and he had just finished work so raced home, i cried for about half an hour after from the pain. I am sitting as still as i can on the couch to give it a chance to heal. It's hard with these boys though to actually sit still and hard not to pick harper up. I really want it to get better soon it's so painful.

Took Kanye to the dentist this morning and his teeth are lovely. Beautiful and clean, no plaque, no decay no brown spots. I told her that we have to pin him down to brush his teeth and we use adult toothpaste, she was pleased and recommended the stronger tooth paste that's only sold in pharmacies. Normal adult toothpaste is 1000 something fluoride ( don't know the unit of measurement) but this one is 5000 and is aimed at those who have trouble with teeth or brushing like disabled children. It gives much more protection but is more expensive $20 a tube but you don't need much i guess, I thought maybe i could use it on mar too but it's not recommended for his age.

We had a nice night last night, andre and I watched a movie which I stayed awake for. Earlier last night before dinner mar walked up to harper who was standing at the coffee table and said ' you stupid baby' we came down heavy on him and explained how you don't talk to people or family that way, that it's hurtful and not a nice thing to do. He was upset and apologized over and over. I think he must have learnt it at school because that's never been said here. We talked to him about the importance of being nice and taking care of family, being helpful and respectful. He paid attention and listened. I'm not ready for him to start calling names like stupid and dumb etc he's only 5!
