View from the Pagoda

My birthday. I took the day off work which felt like a huge treat. Houblon took the afternoon off, which was also a treat. The Kew Pagoda is open to the public, for the first time in about 8 years, so we went to Kew, and climbed it. The view from the top was pretty fantastic - it was a lovely clear day. We could see as far as Canary Wharf, Crystal Palace transmitter and the North Downs. This photo has come out surprisingly well, as I couldn't see the results when I took the pictures - it was too bright. This view shows a lot of Kew Gardens, but beyond the gardens it is surprising how green London is.
