Snails go crunch squish

When you step on them. I know this for a fact. It is disgusting on your bare feet. When my husband said "you should put shoes on " I should have listened. If anyone tells him I said that I will slap them.
The sun is so bright during the day that I am waiting until late to take my shots. My garden has exploded with a riot of color. Orange and pink poppies, white, pink and red peonies, blue Siberian iris, white lillium, wood anemone, chartreuse Spirea...........it is a riot of color.
I know there are a plethora of flower shots on blip however......I am taking this opportunity while they are here. Better than snow!
This is a pink peony. Love them. I love their smell, their hidden treasure of yellow within and the splash of color they provide in the garden.
This was a strange day. I had to have my husband bring a new dress to me at work because the one I was wearing was too short. I gave it to a co worker. She will rock it. She is beautiful and could make a paper bag look good. I make a paper bag look like....well, a plastic shopping bag. With a broken handle.

I have to go to work at 4am tomorrow. This may suck.

On a positive note I met my fitbit step goal by 11 this morning by escorting patients. They were fun today. I truly love my job.
I am in the process of looking for a painting contractor to paint my house. This may be my own private hell. We will see. It's a very small house. Let's hope the cost is also. I was thinking of trying to do some of it myself. What deters me is that I am 5'3" and afraid of heights. ( I am SO not going to hear the end of this one from someone) this does not make a good looking house. I have to pick a color also.
Hmmmmm I wonder if the guy across the street would pay for it if I don't paint it purple or pink. He has listed his house for an exorbitant amount of money. I am also thinking of putting metallic paint on the deck. That should make metal detector boy a bit nuts.
The neighbors new boyfriend asked me for the old tv antenna we have on our roof. I forgot it was there. I said no. This may be a problem. He also said he would paint our house cheap. Seriously? I said I wanted someone bonded and with a contract.
Well I have downloaded a new book to read ( a Stephanie Plum novel) I need to do some serious book working out!
