Found this ponded tree on a short on the old ski mountain. In real life it looked a lot more surreal, but the intensity of the sun made it difficult for me to distinguish exactly what my shots were looking like. oh well, at least the colors still look fairly neat.


Today was the deadline for me to have moved to Scotland, and clearly that did not happen. It was a little sad to think that I backed out of something I'd been looking forward to for so long, but at the same time I'm glad I stuck around in the mountains for another season. This evening I was able to hang out with a boy I've been friends with for awhile and it was good to realize that I have made friends out here and not every guy around is a huge jerk.
