Severe Weather Warning

We have had two severe storms come through our area in the past six hours. One around 11:30 am when I was going to a teaching assignment. The heavy rain turned a lot of streets into rivers, lots of lightning and thunder and a very black sky in the south. We had received news that some severe storms were coming up from the States. Now just before dinner tonight high winds whipped up with heavy rain again. A Tornado warning for our area. A good size branch on a neighbours tree came down. Everything outside has been soaked, shaken and stirred! But these irises in my neighbours garden seemed to have survived! What wild weather!
