Pale Pink Peonies

Had to wait in today for the new freezer to be delivered, so no opportunity to go far for a blip. The peonies are starting to open now and we have them in various colours. I really like this pale pink one which smells just like a rose.

My lovely daughter sent me a box of chocolates today, but these are no ordinary chocolates - they are water ganaches by Aneesh Popat, The Chocolatier, who supplies his delicacies to royalty and Michelin-starred restaurants world wide:-) They are 40 - 50% lower in fat than normal chocolates, so perfect for a chocaholic on a low-fat diet! With remarkable restraint, I am restricting myself to two per day!!
