and the winner is ......

Tuesday is usually 'knit and natter' night with my friend Trish - but tonight she had to go and give a demonstration of wet felting to her local women's group. I went along too and we were asked to judge the members' competition which was 'a flower'. We chose this one as the winner because of its lovely colour, symmetry and smell. Not ideal conditions for photography - artificial light, unnatural background, no foliage - but at least it wasn't blowing around! The second was a yellow antirrhinum - total contrast.
