Rosemary's Party.

Most people might call an increase from 1 to 4 pests, munching on their herb border an infestation - but what about when they're so darn pretty. Again - a dark corner in the evening - and so close-up that the lens itself was throwing a shadow - but this is the max magnification from my home-brew lash-up. As before: 2.8 x magnification of a 13cm macro tube lashed onto a 70-200 zoom at maximum zoom. Very silly - but pushing boundaries is what it's all about sometimes. As far as the beetles go - they hardly eat much anyhow.. A fuller, less macro view is shown on June 12th, showcasing their cute carapaces - check 'em out.. would you deny a few sprigs of Rosmarinus officinalis?
