St. Francis on stage

If the statues and paintings on the walls of a medieval church could speak, what would they say? This is a starting point of a theatre piece made originally to the St. Lawrence Church in Vantaa, near Helsinki.

Today it was performed in a congress centre full of youth workers of Lutheran Church in Finland.

It is an impressive play based on the legends of St. Lawrence, St. Francis, St. Elisabeth of Thüringen, St. Xenia of Sankt Petersburg and St. Christopher.
