My Town

It's always good to step off the train at the end of the Metropolitan Line from London and walk home through my little town. It's surrounded on all sides by gently rolling countryside, and looked lovely bathed in sunlight this evening. This is the Broadway in the centre of the town, with the War Memorial at its heart.

I'm turning in for the night very soon, ready for an early start tomorrow doing the sound on Midweek, which will be live on Radio 4 starting at 9 a.m.
