Never a dull moment...

On our street that is.

I was putting the rubbish out when I noticed smoke billowing from another house and some neighbours milling around.

Some old boy managed to catch his bonfire with a tree! So the fire brigade had to come.

Speaking to one of the firemen he said "I swear I been down 'ere before!?" I said probably cos the old boy had done it before, a few years back!!
So never a dull moment. Kids found it all exciting and came out to play as well. There were a few neighbours who were peeved and grumbled because they couldn't go out. Truck was blocking our very narrow street. DH had to walk it home as I couldn't get out. I was having too much fun with the drama on our road. :-)
