Oyster catcher

I snapped what I thought were some fabulous bird shots today only to learn that wearing old glasses is a very bad idea when taking photographs.
I had left the macro switched on the camera and didn't realise resulting in most of my shots being slightly out of focus - enough to make those kind of shots look poor. I was squinting through the viewfinder and thought I had it sharp.
A lesson learned!
