Perfect Day

'Today was a perfect day and I spent it with you'
The sun was shining with a cool breeze blowing. The temperature was 24. We decided to have a short trip to Hestercombe but it turned into the perfect day and we stayed until closing. We had lunch and slowly walked the three mile circuit taking advantage of the seats to enjoy the views and marvel at the beauty of the trees, flowers and birdsong. We took some photoes but they will never fully portray the beauty of the moment, the warmth of the sun and the glorious scent of the roses. We rounded the afternoon of with tea and shared a scone. Just a perfect day.
