A bad day here

I walked at the lakes in Saujon today with J and Millie Spaniel, and on getting back to the car found two of the tyres were punctured.
We later found they had been slashed, so I have no car until Friday night, a bill of almost 700 euros and then had to go to the dentist to have a filling on the root canal tooth.
The dental work went ok but has left me with a strong metallic taste in my mouth, so I'm now trying to neutralise it with gin & tonic. Thank goodness I have good friends who came to my rescue, fed and transported me, and even invited me to dinner tomorrow evening ( they'll have to pick me up again though!)
