The Boy on the Slip
When the haar drifts in today you could almost slice it and put a price tag on it. Therefore this young boy is making the best of a poorish day.
At his age I would have done the same - I remember fondly my toy wooden yacht (name?). And stubbed toes and looking for crabs. I seemed to have blocked out the haar. The glorious sun of the 50s and 60s, where are you now ?
I blame Jimmy Clitheroe and Renee Houston.
