Daisy Days

I walked down to the local shop to get a magazine and I decided to go via the fields rather than the road. This is a view of the church from one of the fields that borders it on three sides. Most of the field is left to nature to decide what grows, last year it was nearly all ragwort but this year it seems to be largely a pinky mauve tall grass dotted with daisies and although it's not a massive field it takes me ages to walk through it because I'm constantly stopping to take photos of some of the insects that visit :-))
