Mel Mansion

After our meeting today we visited the mansion of Prince Gong and then had dinner at Mei Mansion.

This restaurant is is in the courtyard home of the Peking Opera singer "Mei Lanfang". The home was converted by his son into this very unique restaurant. We watched the opera singers apply their makeup and had our on private opera performance during dinner.

The restaurant sets it's multi course (I lost count of how many) daily and the menu is written on fans that are given to each guest. Here you can see the menu being applied to the fan.

I have also back blipped one of the crazy bikes in Beijing for yesterday.
