At last internet has been restored on site, so I have back blipped a few entries.

This is the view from the outside of the MOI looking towards the start of Sheikh Zayed Road.

At long last I received the lost labour contract from the government. So I decided to waste my life and head off to the MOI to get Calum & Karen's visas proceed.

After a four hour wait, I got to the counter to be faced with a 4,500 Dirham (USD1200) fine for Karen overstaying her visa. It turns out that the muppets at the Al Ain border didn't enter her details into the system properly when we came through a couple of weeks ago. The solution is that we now have to go back to Al Ain, and get them to enter the visa correctly.

Oh the joys
