Sluggish

This slimy fellow was on my driveway as I was leaving this morning. Luckily he was in no rush to get away and so I was able to get this shot, or maybe he was, it's hard to tell.

Later in the day I came across a series of science videos called Veritasium. They're a bunch of youtube videos by a guy from Canada who seems to go around the world answering science questions in a way that's entertaining and easy to understand. A really good watch that I'd highly recommend. I liked him even more when in one video he explained that he was actually born in Australia, and not just Australia but in fact was born in Traralgon the same town I grew up in! Some further research told me he has also worked on some Australian television shows including a morning show and catalyst. One of the best things about the invention of the internet has to be the access to knowledge. There's so much out there now I could happily spend a day watching it all...and maybe I will. Tomorrow, TED talks.
