Peeping Pieris

Our two Pieris shrubs are amongst the first to bloom each year and naturally the blooms don't last very long. For quite a while this, the largest of them all, has only presented leaves. Surprised to find this tiny bloom appeared off the main trunk, the only one in sight:)
