We left town for a family vacation today. It was supposed to be the start of my sabbatical, but I've since postponed that after I found out I was pregnant so I can use it to take an extra long maternity leave. We kept the vacation though and will be spending the next week in Maui.
It was a long plane ride and some minor logistic setbacks to get here, but we are excited to enjoy the beach, pools, and family time. We had enough time to get dinner and a quick stroll on the beach tonight before we had to put our tired Miles to bed. He really wanted to go on that boat!
