Sunset

Behind the Tortolita Mountains.

On a hunch I took a tripod, my fastest lens and my fastest camera to see what sunset would reveal up on the ridge. This moment was captured at f/11 and did not require the f/1.4 lens. Tripod not required.

Monsoon officially began June 15. Some moisture in the air but it will be a week or so before we see lots of clouds. In the meantime we have had 23 days so far with highs above 100 degrees. Bike ride this morning was comfortable because the daily high temperature doesn't occur until 3 or 4 pm.
