Bamburgh Castle

One of those days that didn't go at all entirely as planned.

Up rather later than intended due to some football match the England World Cup game on TV late last night.

Down to Bamburgh hoping to see Full Moon Morris (from South Wales) dance at the Castle pub from 12.30pm. On the way we stopped at the level crossing gates while a train went through and then waited... and waited... and waited... for the gates to lift. They did eventually... after another train had gone through over 20 mins later! Arrived at the pub in time to watch the end of the last dance, so no blip of Morris dancers after all.
