Chinook over Gloucester

We tend to get a lot of military helicopters here, Chinooks, Merlins even Apaches at times. We have the NATO 'Imjin Barracks' close by, used to be RAF Innsworth, and also GCHQ up the road so that probably has something to do with it.

Had a visit from schoolchildren today to the Jet Age Museum, they are from the primary school that serves the NATO base so there was a good sprinkling of nationalities including Italians, German, Fijian, and even a couple of English children!
They were incredibly well mannered and asked many sensible questions as they'd been covering the cold war era at school, hence the visit to the museum.
