My topsy-turvy life

The Shugborough scrum

One of the most fun races of the year, the Shugborough relays at...well...Shugborough.

It's always a great atmosphere and this year there were more Harriers than you shake a stick at. As I walked up the drive the first thing I could see was the West Brom tent, pitched on the highest ground possible.
We had 6 full teams running tonight and managed a 15th place in the men's open race with some cracking times. Although we were unlikely to catch teams with runners going under 10 minutes for the 2 mile off-road-ish course.

Brilliant as always and the Harriers set the standard with beer, cake and bbq at the end.

This is the best shot I got of our 1st leg runner, James (in between the two in green), but I'm probably lucky I caught him at all, there's that many people going off together.
