Thaw

It was dull and overcast today and I had more or less given up on the idea of an outdoor picture.

However early afternoon I was driving through a bit of a snow flurry. After it stopped the sun made a (very) brief appearance for a few minutes and that's when I jumped out for a quick picture.

I didn't have much of a choice in terms of location but I actually quite like it. I think its a good example of the natural progression of the thaw. In the fields where there are no people or vehicles passing through you see the gradual disappearance of the snow and the emerging of the grass and other vegetation.
