Cake-fest

We had a flying visit to Yorkshire to visit my in-laws today. It was grandma’s birthday and of course it was father’s day. A three hour drive there, three hours back, a big lunch, cake and a few drinks have done nothing for my waist line or my step count today!

We haven’t been down to visit them since March, and it was nice to see them, especially as my mother in law had a hip replacement recently. The Tiger’s sister and family and another niece joined us after lunch for cake and drinks. There was lots of cake!
