He only went and did it!

2 mile swim on Lake Windermere in 67 mins! Wow. I have to say I was worried sick, after a man died doing the swim on Friday until we got there and I saw the range of people. At one point I was tempted to go find myself a wetsuit. His mate did the 1 mile race and came in at around 38 minutes. So well done to Jon too.

The boy has raised £510 for Macmillan so far, hoping his work will add a nice dollop of pounds on top tomorrow and Jon just under £400 for NSPCC.

I really am proud of him and need to stop underestimating him.

He is currently researching the 5km swim in Loch Lomond next year while I sit and eat cookie dough ice cream!
