Off the Bench

Spent a happy couple of hours working away at the allotment this morning. It's good for the soul! Picked the first few strawberries of the year but there won't be a glut of them because it looks like there's a glut of strawberry-munching slugs instead.

I don't know where the bench came from, it just appeared one day, but it's a welcome and often used addition to our plot, even if it needs some tlc. Anyway, I came off the bench and headed back out onto the golf course to try and improve on yesterday's performance. But I didn't. Had a nice tea though!

Mr Messi is due on stage soon to close out Day 4. I'm hoping for great things!
