The Queen's Baton.

I suspect I would never have gone very far out of my way to catch the Queen's Baton Relay as it meanders round Scotland en route to the Commonwealth Games. But (rather like the Olympic Torch before it) it would have seemed rude not to at least pop along to the end of the street.
