What a Fathers Day, I was on a farm today with loads of bird photo opportunities. Some of the picks, skylark, heron, barn owl and kestrel are here on blip folio if you wish to take a look. The blip also looks much better LARGE

The kestrel was my main target today but I have to say the barn owl hunting early this morning stole the show for me. The kestrel actually mugged the barn owl of his prey in mid air !!

The pair of kestrel have 2 juveniles they are still feeding. The blip looks much better LARGE
