Laid

Yesterday's lifting and de-nailing became today's planing and laying. Nearly lost my pinkie in the planer but I was wearing gloves so the glove got it instead. Luckily.

It's going to take quite a bit of sanding to get it all level - there's little ridges between boards from laying them in a different order. I guess they were laid and sanded last time so there's some variation in the depth of the boards. And some of them took two passes on the planer to get all the varnish off. Anyway, all done apart from the fiddly bits that I need my table saw for, although the table saw's covered in floor. Hmm.

Still, nice dinner out at Khushis but now I'm too stuffed for my Fathers' Day chocolate.
