Our excursion today took us to Duncansby Head, to walk along the clifftops and view the Stacks. On the way back to the car, we met this lone cyclist, whom we'd also passed on the road. Just before this photo, he'd been taking a selfie with the lighthouse in the background. Just after, he asked if we'd take his photo. He said as Duncansby Head was so close, he might as well stop off before continuing to John o'Groats. He also hadn't expected there to be so many islands (that's Orkney in the background). And he wanted to get to JoG before the 'official photographer' at the signpost closed shop for the day.
