Canterbury Bell

I managed to get home early from work, in order to have time for dinner before choir. I had a few minutes spare to wander round the garden with the camera. These Campanula, or Canterbury Bells, appeared in the garden one year - they were probably bought in by birds. They have bloomed every year since, sometimes purple and sometimes white, but always a lovely addition to the garden. I particularly liked the flower backlit by the late afternoon sun, and the flying bug was a bonus!
