Industrial Assembly

This is Castlefields Arena in Manchester and the amazing setting for the start and finish of the urban race today. If you look closely you can see Tony in his orange 'bear hunter aware' t shirt waiting in the start lines!

It was an enjoyable race with some tricky route choices around the canal basin and under the various railway arches and bridges. I made a couple of errors which will have cost me time but had a great time. It was at the limit of my usual distance so I felt a bit dead legged towards the end and I was half way down the results. It made for a long day travelling by train on a sunday so I'm now going to pour a glass of wine and relax for the remainder of the evening.
