Fathers' Day- Ilkley

I booked us in for a family meal at 'Cow and 'Calf' on Ilkley Moor for Fathers Day today, thinking that we could explore the Countryside before dinner. However, I hadn't accounted for the serious downpour last night and so to avoid a serious mud situation, we had a little trip to Ilkley Park first instead, which was lovely.

I think I've only ever been as far as the children's park before, so it was lovely to walk a bit further up the river and we were blessed with the weather being reasonable enough for us to be able to sit outside for a drink.

After burning a fair few calories, running about after our two, we ventured up to the pub for our meal, which was a bit of a gastronomic feast, especially the peanut butter and chocolate cheesecake!

Now, feel fit to burst!
