History
This is the World's End pub in Edinburgh, situated on the Royal Mile. It gets its name from being located at what was the east edge of the city, way back in the 16th century. Also, sadly, it's famous for two murders committed back in 1977.
The pub's own website explains the older history. The brass cobbles mentioned there are just off the photo, to the left.
We usually drop in here after the Speakeasy.
