Transparency in communal decisions

Today I am traveling 600 kilometers to Oulu and back. The trip is called innovaatiojuna, innovation train. There are 47 of us traveling and spend our time being innovative, creative and completely without a preset agenda. We have come half way. So far we have had a bar campish unconference on the train, lunch at Oulu 10 - the temporary city hall of Oulu. This picture is taken from the floor of the lobby.

Currently I am listening to a presentation about OmaOulu which is the citizen portal of Oulu. It is a Liferay portlet with Alfresco and whatnot on the background.

On the train there have been discussions about the e-strategy of the national railway company, win-win-win business, the new rise of Finnish lumberjacks and that's just a few of the four tracks we had on the train.
