A tree in Perton on fathers day

I revisited this tree while on a walk in Perton. I rather liked the splash of colour from the poppies. Not wanting to wade neck high in rape plants I took an alternative route along with many dog walkers on this warm summers day.

Fathers day has been delayed till later this evening when our son returns from a weekend away. Not long now.
