Little Red Cap

There have been a few young Greater Spotted Woodpeckers on Blip, as they are just appearing. We have been waiting for 'our' little red cap to arrive, ever since we noticed a male and a female coming much more into the garden than they have done all year - obviously stoking up with easy food as they raise a young one. A couple of days ago this one came along with mum and dad and was shown how to feed on the nuts. Now it comes quite confidently on its own.
