Walled Garden

Stayed up late to watch the football last night. This morning I headed off to do my guiding. It went well and the visitors were very complimentary and seemed to enjoy the tour.

This afternoon we went for a gentle cycle to the walled garden at Grappenhall Heys. The reflections on one of the ponds there caught my eye. A song thrush sat on the top of a tree and treated us to his beautiful singing.

Hopefully this evening will not be as fraught as last Sunday night.
